Woodstock man spent 20 years documenting the lives of rural Jamaicans. It all began in 1984 when George, a 24 year old Canadian man decided he wanted to travel to the exotic island called Jamaica. He met two men, Charles Cocker who was known as Bongo Bada and James Sommerville, local fishermen. They invited George to live with them in the parish of Spring Garden, Westmoreland. This area was known by the locals as, ‘So Long Hole’.

Years later George would publish his first book called,'The Comprehensive Jamaican Handbook.' It has everything from short stories of his adventures to Jamaican recipes and things to see and do etc. etc. After spending years in the mountainous area James and George set up a house on James' beachfront property on Hope Wharf Beach in South Broughton. George documents the everyday life of the Sommervilles and has fun doing a 'Cool Rock Talk Show'.

The DVD begins with a slide show of George's favorite photograhy. The soundtrack features 17 amazing reggae bands from all over the world!
